I'd like to just take a moment to bring to light what is the most amazing woman in the world -
My Mom!
Yes, I know, everyone (I hope) would say that their mom is the best mom in the world...but really, mine really IS the best mom in the world!
I don't really want to say too much in this blog; I really just wanted to share with everyone how much my mom means to me. I want to encourage all of you to take a look at your mother(s), and think of the first three things that come to your head, of times when your mom did something so amazing for you that you realised you were the luckiest person in the world. It doesn't have to be big, it could be that she drove to come pick you up in the middle of the night from a friend's house during a sleepover because you got home sick; or bought you an extra donut because she saw how much you loved them; or even just spoke to you until 2 in the morning when that's all you needed - just to talk.
Moms are the most amazing role models in your life. Whether you're conscious of it or not, your mom guides you in so many ways - explicitly or implicitly. She lights the way for you on a path she has once traveled. She makes sure you're warm and safe, that you don't take that path without the strength to put one foot in front of the other. And if at any point, you can't take one more step, she's right behind you giving that little push to get you going again. And you know what the best part is? She never asks for anything in return!
I don't know about you, but my mom is my hero. So I hope you all just take a step back and take a look at the woman in your life and say "Wow, thank you mom."
I'll be the first -
Wow, thank you Mom! For all you have done for me in my life right up until today. Thank you for loving me every day, caring for me, missing me and looking out for me. Thank you for teaching me to be strong and courageous, bold and beautiful. Thank you for guiding me to be passionate and determined in everything I do. But most importantly, thank you for being YOU! You are the true essence of "You Are Beautiful" and I only hope to accomplish a small percentage of your in-and-out beauty in my lifetime.
Stay sweet my lovelies, and all of you mommies out there!
Love, Sweets x
